***This high-energy ass intensive is not for the faint of heart! Fusing the sensuality of burlesque with the sharp attitude of hip hop, this class will focus on isolations, footwork, and of course…THE BOOTY! Class begins with a warm up and stretch and moves into a fun combination of pop, lock, and dropping your favorite asset. Some dance experience is recommended.
***What to bring/wear: Wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing in which you can easily move. Tennis shoes and booty shorts recommended.

Jeez Loueez is an award-winning burlesque performer, actor, emcee, and instructor in St. Louis known as “The Honey Badger of Burlesque” and “The Powerhouse of the Midwest”! A lethal combination of drama, hilarity, and killer kinetics, Jeez is known for consistently bring audiences to their feet! She’s the 2012 (and first African-American) Miss Viva Las Vegas, the 2013 Shimmy Showdown Champion, and the Reigning 2014 Southern Fried Burlesque Queen. Since 2010 Jeez Loueez has been voted as one of the TOP 50 Burlesque Industry Figures coming in at #39, #31, #27, #18! Jeezy has produced the sold-out hit show Jeezy’s Juke Joint: A Black Burly-Q Revue in Chicago/St. Louis, The 8th Degree, and most recently LEZ DANCE with Lola Van Ella & Kristen Goodman, a monthly LGBT lady-loving dance party in the burgeoning neighborhood of Cherokee Street in STL. Never one to rest for too long she frequently tours with The Beggar’s Carnivale and Foxy Tann and the Wham Bam Thank You Ma’ams, teaches at Van Ella Studios, and has taught her popular Twerkshops across the country from Burlycon Seattle to Chicago to Virginia!
