Since the The Blue Note was built in 1927, the historic stage has hosted the breathtaking stunts of magicians, the humor and wit of vaudeville performers, and so much more! In celebration of bygone days of entertainment, for one night, Saturday December 13th, the Blue Note will transform back to it’s roots for a one-time only show called Fire Ball Masquerade! – A Burlesque and Vaudeville Variety Show. Join us for a mystical, titilating, breathtaking and riotious night of the Midwest’s best acrobats, jugglers, magicians, comedians, and burlesque dancers. Be dazzled and wowed by the seductive shenanigans of St. Louis’ BEGGAR’S CARNIVALE. Ladies and gentlemen, dress to impress and prepare to be wowed and aroused…this is the Fire Ball Masquerade!

Ladies and Gentlemen! Boys and Girls of legal age! Step right up to the sexiest, strangest, wildest show on earth! A gypsy carnival, a one-ring circus, a villainous vaudeville, a bawdy bordello, a manic music hall, and an unforgettable night of entertainment awaits you! Devilish Dancing! High flying! Fire Eating! Amazing Magic and so much more! The Beggar’s Carnivale is a vaudvillian silent circus, combining elements of traditional circus arts, gypsy folk and rock ‘n roll. Filled with wonderment and spectacle, it has been described as “Cirque du Soleil on a whiskey bender”.
Van Ella Productions is bringing elements of the Beggar’s Carnivale and Show Me Burlesque together to create a one night only, sextacular revue for the Blue Note!
