Featuring a badass soundscape, modern dance, poetry, and burlesque, Black As Eye Wanna Be is Po’Chop’s irreverent celebration of blackness. Inspired by her own black queer experience growing up in Missouri’s bootheel and prolific black thinkers such as Audre Lorde and James Baldwin, Black As Eye Wanna Be will feature Tiff Beatty, Jeez Loueez and local guest performers to be announced.
