Come see me before I take a month off to recover from knee surgery!

Hello everyone! If you weren’t updated via social media then I have great news! I have my FIRST SURGERY for my knee scheduled for June 7th and I couldn’t be more thrilled!!!! The crazy part is that I literally had to get married to even get insurance yep that’s living in America.

I’ve been going through some rough times, but I finally feel like a positive outcome is around the corner. I’m also moving out of my current living situation and hopefully into a better one at the end of May. I’m literally starting over and while it’s not the beeeeest time for this to be happening it is what it is.

I’m moving at the end of May, then flying to Burlesque Hall of Fame the next day, and the day after I return to Chicago I will have surgery. After that I will need to take a month off of performing and working which is what I’m most freaked out about. If you know me then you know I’m a workaholic but I HAVE to give myself this time to heal properly. I have been going non-stop (with this injury!) for almost 8 months and once the scar tissue is removed is when I will know the extent of my torn ACL and MCL. Once it’s healed I may possibly need another surgery to repair the ACL.

I’m working a day job VERY part-time and am hustling as much as I can to have money to move AND co-pay for surgery AND to live while I’m not working. So if you’re feeling like sending me an early Birthday present I’m bring back my YouCaring fundraiser for a Knee Surgery Cushion!
